Zajac Shelved For Now

Devils center Travis Zajac is going to miss the next couple of weeks, recuperating from soreness in his injured Achilles. He is hopeful to return after the upcoming All-Star break, Jan. 26-29 in Ottawa.
The Devils' first game after the break is a home matchup with the Rangers on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
Zajac missed the first 30 games of the season following offseason Achilles surgery. Since then, he has a goal and two assists in eight games. He hasn't played since the Ottawa meeting, four games ago.
