Devils Lose Tallinder For 6-8 Weeks

Devils’ President/CEO/General Manager Lou Lamoriello tonight released the following statement in regard to defenseman Henrik Tallinder:
"Henrik Tallinder has been diagnosed with acute thrombophlebitis of the lower left leg and will be out six to eight weeks.”
The 33-year old had six assists and a minus-11 rating in 39 games this season. He last missed a game in the 2008-09 season with Buffalo.
