The 2024 NHL Draft will take place in Las Vegas on June 28-29. It will be glitzy, as is everything in Vegas.
Boston University forward Macklin Celebrini, who won the Hobey Baker Award as a 17-year-old freshman, is the consensus No. 1 pick. Things become unclear after that.
But as gaudy as the draft might be, it won’t be that way for New York and New Jersey natives.
There don’t seem to be any first-round picks in this bunch. There are, however, some intriguing prospects who will be Day 2 picks.
In this story, we will only be looking at first-year eligible players for the NHL Draft.
