Boston University forward Macklin Celebrini, who won the Hobey Baker Award as a 17-year-old freshman, is the consensus No. 1 pick. Things become unclear after that.
But as gaudy as the draft might be, it won’t be that way for New York and New Jersey natives.
There don’t seem to be any first-round picks in this bunch. There are, however, some intriguing prospects who will be Day 2 picks.
