After beginning the 2017-18 season with a 5-0 victory over Ridgewood, the Indian Hills boys hockey team hit some hard times. The team earned only one victory in its next six games, a stretch that included four losses.
One of those losses came at the hands of Glen Rock, the 2017 Public B champions. After a scoreless first period, Glen Rock had its way in the second period, outscoring Indian Hills, 3-0. Glen Rock would go on to win the game, 4-1.
Indian Hills and Glen Rock are in the same conference, however, and that loss would not be the last time the two teams squared off. The next time, the Braves were a much different team.
