ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Twenty forwards shined at the USHL’s American Cup Showcase held from Dec. 3-5 at Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex and Rochester Ice Center.
Youth organizations from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania attended the event, competing for titles at the 15-U, 16-U, and 18-U levels. The Valley Forge Minutemen won the 15-U finals, 4-1 over the Rochester Coalition. At the 16-U level, the Long Island Gulls skated to victory over the New Jersey Rockets in the championship game, 4-3. Bishop Kearney Selects seized the 18-U championship banner after defeating Long Island, 4-1.
Continuing our series, which began last week with the event’s top defensemen and goalies, we now bring you the 20 best forwards in our live viewings. Born between 2003-2006, these individuals distinguished themselves as junior and college prospects.
They are worth keeping note of and tracking as they continue their development. Given the wide range between birth years, some are further along than others.
