It’s an exciting time for Tri-State college hockey fans.
The Division I schedule resumes this weekend for the first time since before Christmas, while Team USA continues its run at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship.
The U.S. opened World Juniors with a victory for the 12th consecutive time Wednesday in Victoria, B.C.
The Americans’ tournament roster includes three players from the region, including Boston University forward Joel Farabee (Cicero, N.Y.) and Western Michigan defenseman Mattias Samuelsson (Voorhees, N.J.) who both played in the 2-1 win over Slovakia.
