USA Hockey announced the 44 players that will compete at the 2022 edition of the BioSteel All-American Game. This year is the third installment of the event, and its goal is to provide the best American-born draft prospects with an opportunity to showcase themselves in an all-star environment.

Seven area natives will skate in the game. Damien Carfagna (Woodridge, N.J.) and Seamus Powell (Marcellus, N.Y.) will play for Team Blue. At the same time, Tyler Muszelik (Long Valley, N.J.), Charlie Leddy (Fairfield, Conn.), Hunter McDonald (Fairport, N.Y.), Devin Kaplan (Bridgewater, N.J.), and Gleb Veremyev (Monroe Township, N.J.) will dress for Team White.

In addition, Pennsylvania native Vincent Borgesi will compete for Team Blue, and Illinois product Lane Hutson will skate for Team White. Borgesi played for South Kent Selects Academy during his 15-U season. Hutson spent his 16-U year with the North Jersey Avalanche, and his three brothers also have played for the Hackensack, N.J.-based organization.
