Bauer Morrissey never talks about how good he is on the ice. He doesn’t have to. When you’re that good, everyone can see for themselves.
Morrissey, a co-captain on Section III Skaneateles, has been a central figure in the Lakers grabbing the No. 1 spot on the statewide small-school poll as they went into the holiday break.
But don’t expect Morrissey to brag about his or the team’s exploits, because he is about as mild-mannered as they come.
“There’s a lot of younger guys on our team that need to learn more stuff about the game,” Morrissey said. “I try to be like a role model to them, help them out and try to make them better.”
