Frank Serratore has coached plenty of exceptional men in two-plus decades as Air Force’s head coach. Yet his latest captain stands out above the rest.
“We’ve had some great, great captains and leaders here,” Serratore said. “We haven’t had anybody that’s any finer than Luke Rowe.”
That’s quite a statement from the Falcons’ bench boss, but Rowe (Succasunna, N.J.) has earned the praise.
The junior defenseman led the team with 57 blocked shots and put up 16 points in 35 games last season, helping Air Force reach the Atlantic Hockey Championship game.
