Although there are still several months to go before the official start of the winter 2021-22 campaign, prep hockey is quickly nearing its return.
As we begin to ramp up our coverage for the upcoming season, New York Hockey Journal takes a look at several local prospects from the 2005 birth year who will look to establish themselves as productive, impact players as they set out on their first seasons at the prep level in the months ahead.
This is not a comprehensive ranking of every ‘05 player from New York slated to play prep hockey this year but is an initial watch list of student-athletes who have performed well over the past few months and look poised to make notable contributions once the season arrives at their respective schools.
