Led by a cast of NCAA Division 1-bound Tri-State Area natives, the Chicago Steel defeated the Fargo Force 3-1 on Saturday night to win the USHL's 2021 Clark Cup Championship.
After being shutout 3-0 in Game 1, the Steel bounced back and outscored the Force 14-3 the next three games to win the best-of-five playoff series 3-1, earning Chicago its second Clark Cup championship in franchise history and its second trophy of the 2020-21 season.
Previously, the Steel won the 2021 Anderson Cup as the USHL's top regular-season team.
