While Alex Tuch continues to leave his mark with the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League, his 17-year-old brother, Luke, is paving a golden path of his own in the hockey world.
Last season, Luke, a 6-foot-1, 197-pound forward, totaled 23 points (10-13-23) in only 48 games as a member of the USA Hockey National Team Development Program Under-17 team. He’s hoping to have an even better 2019-20 campaign with the Under-18 club. And if he does, there’s a high chance of him being selected at the 2020 NHL draft, just like Alex was in 2014, 18th overall, by the Minnesota Wild.
But don’t bring up that possibility to Luke. He has his sights set on the task at hand, and that’s being the best player he can be this season.
