Two players with ties to the Tri-State region were named to the 2021 U.S. Under-18 Men's Select Team that will compete in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
After a weeklong camp at the Northtown Center in Amherst, N.Y., goaltender Austin McNicholas and forward Luke Devlin were chosen for the roster that will represent the country Aug. 2-7 in Breclav, Czech Republic, and Piestany, Slovakia.
USA Hockey selected the final 23-man roster following three All-Star games at the two-day Hlinka camp, which featured the top-40 2004-born players that participated in Boys Select 17 Player Development camp the three days prior.
