Michaela Boyle off to a flying start for defending champs

Mass. scholastic standout chips in right away as Golden Knights embark on arduous repeat bid

Clarkson might have found itself a future star in New England.

Michaela Boyle, who led Massachusetts in scoring as a high school senior with Reading High School, debuted with the Golden Knights on the road Sept. 29-30.

Boyle had the chance to play in front of her friends and family close to home at Northeastern University in her first two career games, scoring a goal in the second contest.
