The longtime Sabre was part of a trade that sent him to the Minnesota Wild in the offseason, and the change of scenery just might do him good. Not that the 26-year-old Foligno wasn’t happy or improving in Buffalo. In fact, he enjoyed the best season of his six-year stint with the Sabres in 2016-17, notching a career-high 13 goals.
