It didn’t take Brody Medeiros long to leave his mark on the New Jersey Titans.
The defenseman served as an alternate captain of the team last season, his first in the North American Hockey League, and took over as captain for this year.
“Brody’s not only able to hold himself accountable, but also hold the others accountable and set a standard for our team on and off the ice that we want as the face of our program,” Titans head coach and general manager Craig Doremus said. “I’m a father of two boys, and he has a lot of attributes that – and I’ve told Brody this – if my kids grow up to be half the man as him, then I’ve done a really good job. He’s the prototypical captain for us.”
