Gleb Veremyev, a Sayreville, N.J., native, will represent his country at the 2019 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament this August.
Veremyev, a left wing for New Jersey Rockets U-16, made the 2019 U.S. Under-17 Men’s Select Team, it was announced Saturday following the conclusion of the USA Hockey Select 16 Player Development Camp.
The weeklong camp, held at Northtown Center in Amherst, N.Y., was used as an evaluation and selection process to come up with the roster that will head to Germany in August. Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany will join the U.S. in the international competition.
