The last month has been full of excitement for Brandon Cimino. On March 21, the 2001-born defenseman for the North Jersey Avalanche program committed to play college hockey for Bentley University.
"The academic part is big for me," said Cimino of why he chose Bentley. "It’s a top business program in the country, which is what I want to do when I’m older. It’s a good, upcoming hockey program. I knew they wanted me and I knew I’d play there. The brand-new rink on campus is unbelievable, and it’s close to home."
Cimino is a major piece to the blue line on the 16-U Avalanche team that will be one of the favorites to win the championship at USA Hockey Nationals in West Chester, Pa., this month.
