In a season filled with uncertainty, there was no shortage of hurdles that hockey players at all levels of the game had to face in 2020-21.
Rinks were shut down, statewide travel bans were enacted and entire seasons were either postponed or canceled altogether, and that's just for starters. In the end, some fared better than others, but after months of awaiting the go-ahead to get back on the ice, games finally got underway as the status of the coronavirus slowly began to improve.
While this season was far from normal, that didn't stop these Tri-Staters from making the most of it.
