With the first overall pick in the OHL Draft, the Sudbury Wolves selected Quentin Musty, one of the top-rated 2005-born players in the country.
A native of Hamburg, N.Y., Musty, 15, spent this past season with North Jersey Avalanche 16U. After missing time due to an injury, he returned for the postseason and helped the Avalanche win the USA Hockey Youth Tier 1 16U National Championship in Missouri.
The second-highest local pick was Kemptville 73s U18 AAA center Carey Terrance (Akwesasne, N.Y.), who was selected by the Erie Otters tenth overall.
