ROCHESTER, N.Y. — New York Hockey Journal concludes its analysis of the Northeast Pack event from the weekend (Jan. 14-16) by analyzing the 2006 class competing in the 15-only division. The league is currently preparing for playoffs held Feb. 11-13.
The division had four clubs in attendance: Bishop Kearney Selects, Long Island Gulls, New Jersey Rockets and Pittsburgh Penguins Elite. Unfortunately, due to COVID protocol, Mount St. Charles could not attend the event, and in place of their absence, the Rochester Coalition entered the showcase. It was a makeshift roster under challenging conditions, and even though the players gave it a game effort, they went 0-3 and were outscored by a wide margin.
The '06 class represented well here. We break the 10 best performers down and try to project next steps and future opportunities in hockey.
