Q&A with Rochester native Ben Ritter, a recent Dartmouth commit

his is the first installment in a new series of College Commit Q&As with players in the region’s prep school ranks. Look out for a new one each Wednesday during season!

With the prep regular season set to get underway this week, Loomis Chaffee newcomer Ben Ritter joins us for our first College Commit Q&A. The junior defenseman from Pittsford, N.Y., committed to Dartmouth College earlier this week.

Ritter joins head coach John Zavisza’s Pelicans after spending the fall with the Yale Junior Bulldogs U16 team. Last season, he played for Pittsford High School in his hometown, recording three goals and 12 points in 18 games on the blue line, as well as the Rochester Coalition 15U AAA squad.
