To those who follow youth hockey in the Empire State, Domenick Fensore’s rise to hockey prominence comes as no surprise.
The Thornwood, N.Y., native has long been one of the most talented defensemen in his age group. Fensore starred in the Brick Tournament, the annual Pee-Wee showcase in Edmonton back in 2011. He continued impressing scouts and college recruiters as he developed through his Bantam and Midget years.
His play on the ice with the Mid-Fairfield Rangers earned him plenty of interest from NCAA programs before settling in on Quinnipiac University.
