Recruiting: Army adds Andrew Garby; RIT, LIU land commits

Fairbanks Ice Dogs right defenseman Andrew Garby announced his commitment to play at Army West Point earlier this week, where he is set to join coach Brian Riley and the Knights in the Atlantic Hockey conference in 2021-22.

Garby, 20, is in his third season with the Ice Dogs in the North American Hockey League. In 33 games, the 2000 birth-year defenseman owns 17 points on six goals and 11 assists.

Prior to the NAHL, the Canton, M.I., native spent three seasons in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League, as well as one at Plymouth High.
