2002-born Victoria Grizzlies right wing Ellis Rickwood has committed to Clarkson, the BCHL announced on Tuesday.
Rickwood, a 19-year-old from Brantford, Ontario, just concluded his rookie season with the BCHL's Grizzlies after spending the past three seasons with the Brantford 99ers in Alliance Hockey, a minor-level hockey organization based in Southern Ontario.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound forward took the league by storm as a rookie in 2020-21. He began the season with a four-goal effort on opening night and carried it through the rest of the BCHL's COVID-shortened pod season, finishing second in league scoring and first on the Grizzlies with 30 points in 20 games.
