Less than three weeks after becoming the only United States goaltender taken in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, Washington Capitals prospect Chase Clark announced his college commitment.
Clark, a 2002-born native of Williamsville, N.Y., who will play for the USHL’s Tri-City Storm during the 2021-22 season, took to social media on Friday to pledge his future services to Quinnipiac.
His commitment to the ECAC Bobcats marks the second in the past two weeks for coach Rand Pecknold after Mount Saint Charles ‘05 forward Chris Pelosi (Sewell, N.J.) tabbed the Hamden, Conn., program as his future NCAA landing spot on August 2.
