It was a successful summer for a pair of New York natives who will be second-year players in prep school hockey this winter. Brunswick left wing Drew DellaSalla (Rye, N.Y.) and Kent defenseman Alex Bales (East Amherst, N.Y.) earned spots on the U.S. roster for the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in August.
The '06s are just two of the many returning prep players from New York and New Jersey who are poised to have strong winters in 2022-23.
Among the other top players from the region include college commits, uncommitted veterans, and defending prep champions.
