Scott Morrow was 13 years old when he left home to play at Shattuck-St. Mary's in the fall of 2016.
Five seasons after arriving at the Faribault, Minn., prep school, the 18-year-old Darien, Conn., native is in line to play college hockey for the reigning national champions and is one of the Tri-State region's top prospects eligible for the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
After playing a season apiece with the 14U and 16U Shattuck teams in 2016 and 2017, Morrow began playing for the Sabres' prep team at age 16. Since then, the 2002-born blueliner has seen a steady progression in his game while developing under coaches Ben Umhoefer and Tom Ward.
