Many of the top American, 2003-born forwards converged on Northtown Center in Amherst, N.Y., last month for a chance to showcase their talent at the 2019 USA Hockey Select 16 Player Development Camp.

The camp was used as a selection tool by USA Hockey to determine who would make the team that will compete in the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament.

One local player, New Jersey Rockets left wing Gleb Veremyev (Sayreville, N.J.), was named to the U.S. Under-17 Men's Select Team that will compete at the Five Nations Tournament this month in Germany.
