Buffalo Sabres' new general manager Jason Botterill preached patience to SabreNation. After two seasons of tanking, missed playoffs and raises in ticket prices along the way, patience is something that is in short supply with the Sabres’ fan base. Unfortunately for the fans, it looks like they are going to have to bite the bullet at least for a little while longer.
In his first draft as GM of the Sabres, Botterill wasn’t looking for a quick fix. He was looking for long-term answers. He believes he has found one such person in the form of a young man who owns the title of "Minnesota’s Mr. Hockey" — Casey Mittelstadt.
