Confidence can go a long way, especially for a goal scorer. After a season of learning the ropes in the USHL, Princeton, N.J., native Curtis Hall has started firing on all cylinders in his second year with the Youngstown Phantoms.
Through 18 games, the Yale University recruit has 10 goals and seven assists for the first-place team in the Eastern Conference.
"It’s been great. The team has been doing really well," Hall said of his second season in the Tier 1 league. "I’ve had a great start. I’m playing hard in all three zones and getting some points."
Hall, who signed a tender to play with the Phantoms for his final 16U season, already has scored three more goals than he did in his entire first season.
