Notable: Selected 18th overall by the Wild in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Made NHL debut with Minnesota on Feb. 4, 2017, at Vancouver. Traded by Minnesota to Vegas on June 21. Played two seasons (2014-16) at Boston College, where he totaled 62 points (32-30-62) in 77 games. Became the first freshman since Richie Smith in 1972-73 to lead the Eagles in scoring when he totaled 28 points (14-14-28) in 37 games. Recorded three assists in seven games to help Team USA win the gold medal at the 2014 IIHF U-18 World Championship. Notched a goal and an assist in five games with Team USA at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship.
