The NCAA announced the 10 finalists for the 2022 Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the top men’s hockey player in Division 1.
UMass senior and Empire State native Bobby Trivigno is in the running, as he just completed a career season with the Minutemen after helping lead the school to its first ever national championship in 2021.
Also in the running is Quinnipiac sophomore goalie Yaniv Perets, the ECAC Player of the Year after putting up 20 wins and eye-popping numbers in goals against average (0.89), save percentage (.950) and shutouts (11).
