New Jersey native, Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan is coming of age

Bobby Ryan continues to gain life and hockey knowledge with each passing season.

The latest lesson the right wing learned is how quickly time flies.

Ryan, 31, found this out when his wife, Danielle, informed him that he’s played more games with the Ottawa Senators than the Anaheim Ducks, the organization that selected him second overall in the 2005 National Hockey League draft when they were still the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

“She said somebody told her,” the Cherry Hill, N.J., native revealed. “I was like, ‘I guess I’m more of a Sen than a Duck.’ It’s amazing how quick it goes. It feels like yesterday I was traded here.”
