FOXBORO, Mass. — New York Hockey Journal attended the NCDC All-Star Festivities on Tuesday, watching the Young Guns Futures Game, which consisted of players born between the years 2003 and 2006, and that compete in the NCDC or USPHL Midget leagues (U-18, U-16, or U-15). The event was played at the Foxboro Sports Center in front of junior and college coaches and scouts.
Team National was victorious over Team American in the contest by a score of 4-1. There were numerous college-committed players or USHL draft picks in the game, and the young players' skill, offense, and creativity were on full display.
Our key takeaways focus on five areas of emphasis, spanning from individual performances to team accolades.
