Seventeen locals from New York and New Jersey were selected in the 2023 NAHL Draft.
Jack Rimmer went first overall to Colorado, while Drew Haxton went to Rochester at No. 2 and Shane Baker was selected third by New Hampshire.
The highest-selected local was Julian Brown (Montclair, N.J.) ninth overall to Philadelphia. The ’06 defenseman spent this past season playing for the Boston Jr. Bruins of the NCDC, scoring one goal and eight points.
