Twenty-eight players from the Tri-State Area have been invited to the USA Hockey BioSteel Boys Select 17 Player Development Camp, to be held June 23-28 at Northtown Center and Daemen College in Amherst, N.Y.
The camp provides the country's top players born in 2004 with on- and off-ice training and coaching from elite-level instructors, as well as the opportunity to compete against their peers from across the country.
It is also used to select the roster for the U.S. Under-18 Select Team that competes at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup. At the conclusion of the camp, players will be selected to participate in three USA Blue versus USA White games, June 28-30, to ultimately select the roster for the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
