Three New York teams made the cut for the 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament.
Cornell, Canisius and Colgate will have a chance to advance to the Frozen Four in Tampa on April 6 and 8 and potentially win a national championship. Each will look to be the first New York school to get back on the top of the college hockey mountain for the first time since Union won in 2014.

Atlantic Hockey champion Canisius is a No. 4 seed who will play No. 1 seed Minnesota on Thursday in the Fargo, N.D., regional.
ECAC Hockey champion Colgate, also a No. 4 seed, will play No. 1 seed Michigan on Friday in the Allentown, Pa., regional.
Cornell is also a No. 4 seed and will play No. 1 seed Denver, the defending champion, on Thursday in the Manchester, N.H. regional.
