Northwood School head coach Chadd Cassidy will be the new head coach and general manager of the USHL's Omaha Lancers, the organization announced on Saturday.
A native of Lake Placid, N.Y., Cassidy spent the last six seasons as the head coach of his hometown prep school, where he compiled a 211-56-19 record, including a New York State championship, as well as a bronze medal at the national tournament.
With his new role in Omaha, Neb., starting with the 2021-22 season, Cassidy replaces four-year Lancer head coach and general manager David Wilkie, who recently stepped down from his post to pursue other career opportunities.
