With games at the 2019 USA Hockey Select 17 Player Development Camp scheduled to get under way Wednesday, now is a good time to look at some of the top uncommitted, 2002-born prospects in New York and New Jersey.
As most readers know, college hockey recruiting is its own unique beast. A few ’02s will be freshmen in college in 2020, but other ’02s could have four years of junior hockey remaining.
While it is undeniable that most of the top ’02s in New York and New Jersey are already committed to a college, there are a few uncommitted prospects on the market who will undoubtedly play Division 1 hockey.
