At the end of the 2022-23 Division 3 season, it was a team from New York — Hobart — that was crowned champion in Division 3 men's hockey.
Whether it was teams representing New York in the NCAA tournament or players representing the area in the World University Games, there was plenty to celebrate for college ice hockey fans in the region.
While some familiar names graduated, there are plenty of talented players from the region who remain this season with opportunities to make a name for themselves and propel their teams to success.
