NEEDHAM, Mass. — New York Hockey Journal attended multiple prep hockey holiday showcases during the weekend, including the Mutch Cup Hockey Tournament hosted by St. Sebastian’s School from Dec. 17-19.
Northwood defeated Brunswick in a shootout, 3-2, to win the finals. The Huskies received strong performances from New York forwards Brady Hildreth (Lockport, N.Y.) and Bryan Jones (Potsdam, N.Y.).
Hildreth provided Northwood with steady two-way efforts and good playmaking ability. Jones used his size and strength to win puck battles and his deceptive speed to drive pucks to the net.
