Tanner Adams is well aware of what it means to represent the U.S. at an international hockey tournament.
Last year, the Northport, N.Y., native helped the 2021 U.S. Under-17 Men’s Select Team win the Five Nations Tournament in Visp, Switzerland, tallying two goals in three games.
But getting selected to the Hlinka Gretzky Cup team was a whole different story for the 5-foot-11, 16-year-old forward.
“We won the Five Nationals Tournament, but I would say this is a lot more exciting,” Adams said.
