It's rare for two brothers to play hockey together at a high level. But Anthony and Marc Del Gaizo have been able to accomplish that goal of playing on the same team.
Luckily for them and their parents, that ride together won’t be ending this season when the United States Hockey League season is over. The Muskegon Lumberjacks teammates will be moving on to play college hockey for UMass Amherst.
"It’s really special we’ve gotten to play with each other all these years and now we’re going to the same college," said Anthony.
The brothers from Basking Ridge, N.J., are key components to the Lumberjacks, one of the top teams in the USHL’s Eastern Conference.
