BUFFALO, N.Y. — The New York District finished sixth out of the 12 teams at the 2023 USA Hockey Select 17 Camp.
The locals went 3-3-0 throughout the tournament, scoring wins over the Massachusetts District, the Northern Plains District and the Mid-American District.
The New York squad certainly wasn't short on talent, as many players had strong showings in one of the top showcases of the summer.
I caught Sunday's game against Northern Plains, Monday's matchup with Mid-American and Tuesday's with the Rocky Mountain District.
Here are five players who had strong showings in those three games.
